About CFP:
We're a social network of fans who support a college football playoff and love to talk college football.

Our Mission: To poke, prod, and harass the B*S until it, or someone, finally creates a college football playoff.

The Idea Behind Our Mission: There are hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of fans located in every part of the country, ranging from the dedicated to the die-hard, scattered across the Internet on various web sites, blogs and discussion boards, who plead their cases and pledge their support for a playoff. Every season comes and goes, and the anger, frustration and disappointment grows. Every January, a team is crowned while one or two contenders don’t even get the opportunity, leaving nothing but controversy and dissatisfaction. Even the B*S champions know this system is entirely unfair. We believe that you, the fans—like the ones that are already on our site, and the many more that are out there—will be the ones to create a playoff through an ever widening and deafening movement starting here. As the movement grows, we will take the case to the powers that be, and will bring many of them to our site to share their knowledge and opinions. We’ll gather politicians, professors, economists, lawyers, journalists and others who support a playoff and want to destroy the current system. This is our mission, and we're going to make sure that you, the fans, enjoy every moment of it.

Who We Are: The site was originally created by three lifelong college football fans who, for years, have been following fans' demands for a playoff. Thinking we might actually be able to do something about it -- while keeping our day jobs -- we launched this social network to gather all of the pro-playoff fans into a single place. We've had a great response so far and we're looking forward to continuing our future growth.
